YOUR HELP IS NEEDED

How?

First and foremost, if you do not know Oxpens Meadow, come and take a look! Have a picnic beside the Thames (but please take your litter home!). Kick a ball around with your friends; play with your grandchildren ….. the possibilities are endless.

Ask yourself would Oxford City be improved by the disappearance of half of this gentle open space?

If you agree that Oxpens Meadow is worth saving as an informal recreation area in perpetuity please consider making a donation to help pay the inevitable costs which arise in trying to safeguard it. There are two ways to donate:

  • Print off a donation form and follow the instructions. Print from here.
  • If donating £50 or more, consider gift aid to FOM via CPRE Oxfordshire. Print from here.

In addition, you may have skills which would be valuable to the Friends of Oxpens Meadow. We are a small group and need all the help we can get. Our contact details are below.

Spread the word! The more people know about our campaign the better.

Members of the FOM steering group are: Colin Bridger; John MIller; Trudy Watt, Rosemary Fennell; Luke Gander; John Shelvey.
